New network

Savvy Older Chicks Exploring Entrepreneurship

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”    Mark Twain

Are you a woman over 55 who

  •  is a “youthful” retiree who knows that traditional retirement is not for you.  You want to stay socially active and connected.
  • wants to keep your brain active by learning new things.  … OR ….
  • is still running your own business.

Come to our new Women’s Networking Group

Savvy Older Chicks Exploring Entrepreneurship

(SOCEE pronounced “saucy”!)

at Patisserie la Cigogne on Danforth Ave in Toronto PatisserieLaCigogne

We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month to share and learn from each other and to be with other women of like minds. There is a different topic to discuss every month and once in while we have a speaker for that meeting.  We get together from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Suzanne Braun Levine titled one of her books “You Gotta Have Girlfriends: A Post-Fifty Posse Is Good For Your Health” and that’s what SOCEE and this networking group is all about.

If you want

  • to lead a healthy and meaningful life.
  • form incredible new relationships,
  • are interested in creating or co-creating new adventures,
  • or learn more about starting or running your own business,

we’ve created a community that is safe and where “everybody knows your name”.  This networking event is small and intimate and the venue is neighbourly.

How to get notices of meetings

Every month I send out a notice to those on my list about the upcoming event and the topic for that month. Some potential topics are mindset, mindfulness, risk, and social media.

If you’d like to be added to this list, sign up below. We’d love to meet you and get to know you, hear your questions and share your knowledge and experiences.
